- Andras Balogh was appointed the international strategic advisor of the prime minister, while the new leader of the government's communications centre is Janos Simko.
Simko was earlier a Vice-President of Hungarian Radio.
Andras Keszthelyi, who until now was deputy government spokesman will take over as head of the advisors' secretariat that was headed by Ferenc Gyurcsany.
Government spokesman Zoltan J. Gal, speaking at a press briefing following the cabinet session on Wednesday, said Balogh, a former head of the Foreign Affairs Institute, will mainly play a role in foreign policy planning.
